Grünberg in Gmunden, Upper Austria, is a place of power and inspiration. With its sweeping views of the Alps and the picturesque panorama of Lake Traunsee, the Salzkammergut Tree Top Walk offers a nature experience in a class of its own. To gently highlight this idyllic setting even in the evening hours, WEAD was brought in to handle comprehensive lighting design and test lighting.

Together with our local partner, we tested the observation tower and the path in various lighting scenarios. Only through real-life trials can the effect of the lighting design in the forest environment be accurately assessed.
