Our project at Aquabella Mutterstadt proves that existing leisure facilities can be transformed into forward-looking highlights through targeted modernization. Since its reopening in June 2024, the approximately 70-meter-long tube slide has been setting new standards in entertainment, safety, and energy efficiency.

Thanks to WEAD's expertise, the facility was equipped with state-of-the-art features that greatly increase the fun factor for all age groups:

• Multimedia experience: Integrated LED lighting effects and dynamic sound turn every slide into an immersive journey.
• Competitive factor: Precise time measurement, including a ranking system, motivates guests to achieve peak athletic performance and ensures a high repeat rate.
• Safety first: A sensor-controlled traffic light system guarantees smooth operation and maximum safety in the slide channel.

Sustainability meets performance

We are particularly proud of the ecological component of the modernization. The tube has been completely insulated, resulting in an impressive 90% energy saving. This enables economical year-round operation that conserves resources without compromising the experience.
